Awake with Sniffles and Swatches.

Yes, I'm still up. Why aren't you? :P The simple truth is that I am not sleepy yet. I am tired, but not sleepy. And I am being productive, therefore I simply cannot go to sleep!

I'm cutting out one inch color swatches for another project in color theory. (raise your hand if you agree that this is like bootcamp for art students?!) So far, so good. I'm about halfway done. I have to sort them out by intensity and value, but I believe I will save that for later.

I haven't heard head or tail of Salem since 9:45 this morning when she left for work. She's been gone a lot more lately. Have to admit I'm a little worried. Then again, she's making more friends. Which is more than I can say for myself, I seem to be losing friends! (Egads!)

In other news, Rose's birthday was immensely fun. Ate out at TGI Friday's and spent the rest of the evening at her house. We (Liz, Anna, and myself), acted a little tipsy all evening. Even though we didn't drink anything. (Odd.) Anna's was understandable as she had only had nine hours of sleep in four days. Liz...What were you sniffing? Hairspray? I think I was just sleepy. I'm not quite sure, I may not have a good excuse. *shrugs*

Today was mostly spent sleeping and getting lost. ("Wanna go to Durham?" "Okay.") It was a very fun night out with Rose. She fed me. (The way to a Jenna's heart...)And we found the Cary Wal*Mart. Though we couldn't quite escape it.

Some time later, we found our way back. And had Snickers icecream. OOOHHH the nummyness!

I did pick up what I needed at Wolly World, and a little more. We found card stock for yet another project. Not exactly the right color, but screw it. Also bought a red sweater/hoodie with double zippers! *happy dance* I'd been looking for one for a while now. They used to have them in Delia's, and at the time I didn't like them. But I like them now, obviously.

So, yes, color swatches. Damn them, damn them to a 1" by 1" hell.

7 hours later...

So the project is near completion. I just have to cut it out, take it to Kinko's for binding, and do my one page write up. And THEN I get to write a rough draft of my english paper, read for religion, install a cd book on my comp, and finish my color swatches.

I know I'm complaining. But I really am tired, and I really am swamped. It feels like exam week, but it's not. And I am not looking forward to exam week, either.
I'm thinking about going to bed early and getting up early in the morn to get everything done. Maybe if I just get to bed before 12, then I'll be doing okay. We shall see.
