Oh the life in the big metropolis of SoBoVa. Full of fun. :P Somehow I've managed to keep myself fairly busy ever since I've been home. Even though it's not as busy as my mom and dad prefer I'd be...it's still busy. and busy is good, in moderation. (like everything else.)
Libby had a three hour soccer game monday night. neither side scored the entire game, so they went into double overtime. Still, neither side scored. So they went into five penalty kicks per team. Still...no scores. Then, another five penalty kicks per team. Nope..we tied. So they went into a 'sudden death' match. Libby blocked a hell of a lot of shots at goal, and one of the other girls on the team managed to get three goals in a row. So we finally won the game 1-0. It was very thrilling. :) Kristi and I had even made signs to cheer Libby on. Great fun.
Last night was dollar bowling night with the gang. I didn't bowl worth squat. Am so out of practice! :P But I did have a good time.
Tonight Adam and Kristi are going to give a minitalk at church about their project trip to Orlando this year. I'm really hoping that it goes well. Neither of them have gotten the money that they need to fund their trip. So hopefully after tonight they'll get some more money. :P I'm going to try and make it to their little speech and then go up to Dot's for a little while to watch Fruits Basket. We shall see. :)
Got the new Avril Lavigne CD yesterday (YAY!)!!! It's really good, a lot more mature than her last cd. The instrumentals are a lot better, much more guitar, which thrills me to bits. I can also tell that her song writing has improved, which is a plus. Although I liked her writing before hand. At any rate, it's a good head banging cd...great for road trips. :) (Though, somehow I doubt I'll be going on another one of those anytime soon...)
Going to spend the last of my money on pictures from the dance/prom/reception. Supposidly they'll be ready by Friday, I'm hoping I can wait that long. :P
Yeah, I think that's it for now. I've got to go clean, blech. ;p
