Date: 2004-07-02 04:22 pm (UTC)Plus there's the emotional aspect of it. How wrapped up you can become in blending colors, or stepping back and seeing the final product. How time doesn't matter--there's no rush. Any emotion can be put into a work of art. Art, for many, is a catharsis.
Art is also ageless. It came before there were even words. Yet, it changes while it remains the same.
But, if it weren't Art, it would be Pyschology. :)

My favorite place to be alone is in my bed. My favorite place to be with friends is...my bed! (HA!) Kidding. It would be the Gathering Spot, even though that place is long gone. *sigh*

Date: 2004-07-03 08:08 pm (UTC)As for what I have to offer...I'd like to think that I could offer a patient, listening ear to people. something steadfast, a point of reference. but i would also like it if someone were there for me in the same manner.
I am not sure what I am about either. Like my purpose, I really don't know where I stand. I'm still deciding how I feel about a multitude of different issues. I'd definetly say that I am more liberal than a lot of our friends. I think though, that I am about everything.
