Okay folks, now that the election is over, it's time to cast your ballots! *cricket cricket*

Lemme explain, I've decided to study abroad, though I haven't decided where exactly. It's up between two places. So I would like to get your opinions on where you think I should go, (with reasons).

Ireland

New Zealand

Ireland? Interesting choice! The only Irish Uni of note is in Dublin, and I've been there, so I can tell you about that city. New Zealand is different, but also strangely similar, in that both countries share dramatic landscapes and are relatively isolated from the big players.

I'm biased of course, seeing as I live next door to Ireland, but it really depends what you're looking for.

New Zealand is cooler for the simple reason that it's where LOTR was filmed. Plus, it doesn't have stinging nettles(one of which stung me when I was in Ireland). [Ireland does have the oh so awesome Book of Kells in Dublin, though, and a really cool library at the main university in same.] A third point is that anime shipping costs from Japan should be less because it's substantially closer than Ireland. A fourth point is just the fact that it is substantially closer to Japan, period.(So tha's my opinion.)^_^

NEW ZEALAND!! Ireland has weather like here and it SUCKS!!! New Zealand would be soo soo pretty!! I've always wanted to go there to visit. The scenery from LOTR ya know? Not that I'm a LOTR lover or anything. But there you have it! Good luck!!

I would have to say Ireland. I know you've always wanted to go there and the history would have to be fascinating. (And the men gorgeous. ^_~ lol) I think I would want to visit New Zealand first. It seems more exotic to me...I dunno.

New zealand. but be prepared for the accents.. they are pretty awful! cross between Australian and English.
but the landscape is beautiful. almost as great as australia.
hehe yeah im from Aus and im prob being biast but yea ya get that.
