weekend sturffs.

thatsjustjennaAhhh, the weekend! Where'd it go? Oh that's right...I slept thru it! HA!
You see, I had such a productive week I needed to recuperate. :) Actually, I'm being serious. My week was highly productive. I got up early every morning whether I had to or not. What's wrong with me?! :P Well, I had plenty to keep me occupied, I'll be sleeping in tomorrow too, maybe. It all depends. I really need to get up early, but we'll see how I feel in the morning. :)
Friday was the White Iris Ball (semi-formal), so I went stag (AGAIN!), but went with Rose & David and Liz & Joel, which was good times. Originally I was going to wear the blue dress that I wore to the formal last year, (I'm into recycling dresses), but I put it on the night before, and even though I've lost weight, I hated how I looked in it. I literally thought "Damn, I look like something that grazes!" So needless to say, I switched it up a bit. Since it was a semi-formal I opted for my black slacks, black blazer, a cobalt blue top, my heels, and a fedora with some funky jewelry. Jenna the Mob Boss? Oh HELL yeah. And I was definetly happier with how I looked and a lot more confident. (And that's all that really matters anyway.) So even though I'm sure some people thought I was a lesbian (not all that unusual), I had a great time. It did get boring in parts, being without a date and whatnot, but overall it was a great time.
Saturday was spent recovering, i.e. sleeping all day. It was more like recovering from the busy week than the dance, but yeah. It was a happily unproductive day.
Today was almost equally unproductive. Except I had a meeting with my group members about our presentation on Tuesday. Did I mention that we have, erm, practically jack shit done? Oi. Well, we're at least meeting tomorrow when I get off of work. So that much is good. *thumbs up* We're going to finish our paper and run thru the presentation. Yup yup yup. And then I have...ohhhhh, three art projects to work on? And a paper? And a take home quiz? Happy happy joy joy.
I guess that means I should get to work. Ho hum.
