Hello, Everyone!

If you are curious as to why I have added you to my friends list, don't be afraid! It is merely me, pinkotaku, in a semi-clever disguise.

And new colors.

I will be posting an entry on my pinkotaku lj as soon as I can. But if you are reading this before I've had a chance to post, the reason for my change of name as well as scenery is rather simple: privacy.

My LiveJournal has become of great interest to my family since my sophomore year of college. It is in the interest of not only myself, but of my friends, that I have elected to move on. When I started posting friends-only entries, it was mainly to try and shake certain people I didn't want reading my journal from doing so. That worked for a time, but they never stopped reading my friends page. The logic behind doing so was fine- they just wanted to see what my friends from home were up to and felt that my journal was relatively easy access to do so.

So in essence, whatever you were writing-they were reading. And even though this is the internet and anonymity is rare as is, I felt the need to protect the people I care about in the only way I knew how. Hence the reason behind the change.

I still intend to keep my pinkotaku page up and available. The only other thing that will change is that I will be deleting each of you off of my friends list as I add you onto my new one here at lucylaorange. I hope you don't mind, and I'm sorry for the trouble. You all know that I am not one to be willy-nilly about changing my livejournals around all the time. I'm hoping that this won't continue to be a problem either.
